This privacy policy sets out how Constant Security processes and protects any information that you give Constant Security when you use this website.

Constant Security are committed to a policy of protecting the rights and privacy of individuals in accordance with the GDPR. Constant Security may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from May 2018.

Constant needs to process certain information about its staff and customers for legal and contractual reasons. To comply with the law, information about individuals will be collected, used fairly, stored safely and securely and will not be disclosed to any third party unlawfully.

Constant inform all data subjects what data we will process and the lawful basis for processing it at the time of data collection in the form of a Privacy Statement.

Constant conduct a detailed Risk Assessment emphasising high risk areas and the measures put in place to reduce the risk in line with GDPR and ICO guidelines. This assessment shall be reviewed annually at the same time as the policy to ensure that all risks are monitored.

The policy applies to all personal data processed by Constant in relation to all:-

Any breach of GDPR is an offence and in that event, Constant Head Office must be notified immediately. Constant will then notify the appropriate 3rd party as set out in the GDPR legislation. In the event of a breach going un-reported, necessary disciplinary procedures will apply and Constant and the employee responsible could be prosecuted and subject to substantial fines.

Security and subject access rights

Constant, where possible store data electronically on certified GDPR compliant equipment, a small amount of data is stored in hard copy in secure locked cabinets within a secure alarmed space. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect on line.

Staff and other possible data subjects have the right to access, rectify and erase their personal data which is being processed. Any person may exercise this right by submitting a request in writing to Constant Security Services, Constant House, Cliff Street, Mexborough, South Yorkshire, S64 9HU. However as some of this data is processed to meet contractual obligations erasure may invalidate the contract.

Constant aims to comply with requests for access to personal information as quickly as possible, but will ensure that it is provided within one month. Constant reserve the right to refuse a request if it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

All employees are given training in the requirements of GDPR as it applies to information held by Constant but also as it applies to customer information which during the course of their duties they may have access to.
