National Apprenticeship Week is here and we’re proud to be joining thousands of organisations across the country to highlight the role of apprenticeships.
From those currently completing their programmes to team members who began their careers with us as apprentices, past and present apprentices continue to play an important role in the future growth of Constant.
Many of the individuals who make up our Head office Team today first joined us as apprentices.
To mark the week, we spoke with Dan Cooke, a current apprentice and Financial Assistant at Constant, who is currently completing his AAT Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship to hear about his experience so far.
“I knew I wanted a practical route into accounting, one which would allow me to gain experience whilst also studying for a recognised qualification. I applied to be a Financial Assistant at Constant and as part of this was offered the opportunity to complete the AAT Level 3 apprenticeship alongside the role. Being an apprentice, I enjoy being able to apply what I learn directly to my day-to-day tasks; gaining confidence as my knowledge and responsibilities grow has been especially rewarding. The knowledge I’ve gained helps me to work more accurately and understand the purpose behind the tasks that I complete”
“I would definitely recommend the apprenticeship route for anyone who is considering becoming an apprentice as it provides valuable experience alongside working towards a formal qualification. My advice would be to stay organised, ask as many questions are you can, and make the most of the support available.”
As we continue to invest in future talent, we’re excited to share that we’re currently looking for a Screening Administrative Apprentice to join our team.
