Round Sheffield Run

The Constant team were out in force again on 29th June as they completed the Round Sheffield Run.

This was a multi-stage 24.5 km trail run which was done in support of this years charity - British Lung Foundation and in memory of a colleague who recently passed away.

There were a total of 11 timed stages totalling over 20km of great trail and parkland racing, with 9 transition stages in between to allow recovery.

In addition to the distance, the route incorporated over 600 metres of vertical elevation, which all came in stages two and three and left the team thoroughly exhausted, only completed with the promise of the upcoming feed station and the much anticipated jelly baby tent!!

Jordan Windle said “We all really enjoyed the event. It was a lot harder than we thought, but we raised some cash for a really good charity and in memory of a much missed colleague”.
