York 10K
On Sunday the 7th of August 2016, the Constant Team was out and about again. This time raising funds for the Jane Thomlinson Charity.
The team completed the Asda Foundation York 10k Run which started and finished at York Racecourse, which incidentally is one of our very first customers and continues to be one of our largest event sector customers to this day. The race took place through the heart of the historic City Centre.
The team comprised of a real mix of abilities, but all those taking part from Constant did incredibly well with several getting personal best times.
The event was extremely popular with close to 6,000 people participating and the weather was perfect all day.
Callum Annakin, Commercial Representative stated that: ‘a lot of hard work and determination went into the run and it was good to complete. It was a hot one, but really enjoyable. It was good to run with the Constant Team for such a good cause’.
Declan Richards, HR Manager went onto say that "it was one of the best courses that he had run. The view of the Minster at the mid-point of the run was fantastic. I can’t wait for next year."
Well done to all involved and a great effort raising money for such a good cause.
